A fictionalized and politically charged account of six members of the riot on January 6, 2021 that took place on the steps of the Capitol Building. In the early days of January 2021, six people go about their daily lives in Washington, D.C., unaware of their interactions with each other until they convene at the National Mall on January 6th. This convergence positions each character to change each other’s lives and outlooks, both in positive and negative ways as the democracy of the US threatens to crumble on the steps of the Capitol Building.
